Bill's foresome included Ms. Ethel Kennedy, actor Matt McCoy and Jim Rice.  Bill is well know for his character “Carl Spackler” in the cult classic movie “Caddyshack!”

WATD’s Liza Churchill interviews Emcee Tom Gross at the 21^st Annual RFK Center Golf Tournament on Cape Cod.   Tommy Gross has been the "Master of Ceremonies" for the annual Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights golf Tournament at the Hyannisport Club since it’s inception twenty-one years ago!  He is emcee for many celebrity events such as the Lance Armstrong Foundation Gala, the Michael Bolton Charitable Gala and the American Airlines Celebrity Golf event. Tommy has quite an eclectic resume for sure ~ announcer, emcee and auctioneer, former tennis professional and New England Ski Reporter for WBZ-TV 4 in Boston, artist, songwriter, restaurateur even volunteer fireman!  You must check out his website at www.tommygross.com

Furyk Forges On

95.9 WATD Sports Reporter Liza Churchill's interview with PGA Tour Pro Jim Furyk after his final round at the 2010 Deutsche Bank Championship ~ the second leg of the FedExCup Playoffs.  Shooting rounds of 66, 73, 71,70 Jim ended up T37 for the event and is currently 11th in the FedExCup Standings.  I asked Jim about his DQ from the Barclay's event which resulted in the PGA Tour Pro-Am Rule change!

WATD Sports Reporter Liza Churchill bumped into Boston Herald sports writer Joe Gordon at the scoring tent on 18 as we awaited Tiger Woods and Ernie Els' arrival after their first round here at the 2010 Deutsche Bank Tournament.  I of course took the opportunity to chat with Joe about his distinguished career and well golf!

Goldie Bounce Golf Live with host Liza Churchill.  I'm gonna be airing my interviews with Mark Petrucci ~ Head Golf Professional at Pine Oaks/Joe and Leigh's Discount Golf Shop (yes ~ they recently sold the “magic used putter” to Jim Furyk) and Fran Morello ~ Head Golf Professional at New Cannan Country Club in Ct.   Fran won the 12th Annual Cape Cod Senior Open earlier this week at the Hyannis Golf Club on Cape Cod.  Later in the show I'll be chatting with Don Small Head Golf Professional at the President’s Golf Course in Quincy, MA.  Don’s gonna tell us all about the upcoming Norfolk County Classic Two-Ball event coming up this weekend October 9 ~10^th!
